Give your game a sound of its own.
TallTurtle — I write original music for indie games. Menu themes, boss fights, exploration loops, cutscenes, whatever your world needs. Every track is built for the project it ships in.

A sample of what I've written. Each track was composed for a specific brief — boss themes, exploration loops, menu music, and more. Press play on any card to hear it right here.
What I Do
Services
I compose music. That's it. I don't do engine integration, audio middleware setup, or technical implementation — you'll need someone else to wire the audio into Unity, Unreal, FMOD, or Wwise. What I deliver is finished, mastered music with stems, ready for your audio person to drop in.
Single Tracks
A piece written for one specific purpose — a menu theme, boss track, trailer cue, or scene music. You give me the mood, length, and a reference or two. You get a finished master with stems.
TRAILERS, PROMOS, KEY MOMENTSFull Soundtracks
Complete scoring for a release. Menu, exploration, combat, boss, cutscene — the whole thing. Scope, timeline, and budget are agreed before anything gets written.
FULL INDIE RELEASESStems & Reworks
Stem separation, dynamic layer prep, and reworking existing material. If you've got tracks that need breaking out for adaptive audio, I can handle that.

About
Who I am
TallTurtle
Hi! I'm TallTurtle, and I compose music for indie games, films, animation, etc. I believe that a good soundtrack can be the difference between a mediocre game, and an amazing game. It is my mission to compose, mix, and master the best music possible for your project. The reason my rate is lower than most is because I don't do any type of integration work, yet. For now, I just focus on creating the best music that my own hands can create. Thank you for stopping by!
Fantastic experience working with TallTurtle! The 8-bit music was creative, energetic, and hit the mark perfectly for my game. Turnaround and revisions were super fast, and they even went above and beyond to help troubleshoot track fitting during implementation. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your understanding and your kindness throughout this whole process. You've been an absolute pleasure to work with!
Rights
Licensing & Rights
Use / Grant of License
On full payment, you get a perpetual license to use the track in your game and in promotional material for it (trailers, streams, posts). I keep the underlying composition and master rights unless we agree to an exclusive buyout in writing.
Rights / Reservation of Rights
I retain composition and master rights. The track can appear in my portfolio and be licensed to other projects. An exclusive buyout removes it from my catalog entirely — we'll work that out in the quote.
Ownership / Exclusive Buyouts
An exclusive buyout transfers sublicensing rights to you and removes the track from further licensing. Pricing depends on the work and buyout scope — we'll quote it up front.
Policy
Cancellations & Refunds
Cancel / Deposits & Cancellation
Cancel before production starts and you get a full refund, deposit included. Once production has begun, the 30% deposit is retained for work completed. Larger projects may have additional kill fees spelled out in the agreement.
Ownership / Who Owns the Drafts
Drafts and WIP files stay with me until the balance is paid. Once that's done, masters, stems, and looped edits are yours under the license terms.
Fees / Kill Fees
The 30% deposit serves as the standard kill fee. For larger projects where work has gone well past the deposit, a separate kill fee formula is agreed in writing before we start.
